Transplanted

M.H. John

I wrote this poem as a reminder that growth often asks us to begin again. Being transplanted can feel unsettling…we lose the comfort of familiar soil before we've had the chance to settle somewhere new. Yet, I've learned that discomfort doesn't always mean we're in the wrong place; sometimes it's simply evidence that we're adapting. This poem is an invitation to trust that even after being uprooted, we are still capable of taking root again, finding nourishment, and blooming in ways we never imagined.
