Outside My Window

M.H. John

This poem sits in the space between movement and stillness. It explores what it feels like to keep living while grief lags behind, to notice the world continuing even when something essential is missing. While penning this one out, I had the thought in mind of learning how to carry someone with you…not by holding on, but by letting their absence soften into memory.
